The incredibly kind and helpful staff! We do not speak German and their English speaking ability was so appreciated. The manager upgraded our room. The view from the dining area is spectacular! The food was good, and the wait staff was so kind to help me avoid foods at the buffet with nuts, due to an allergy. Also the art work on display throughout the site was fantastic!

I loved the variety of activities for all ages. Well thought out for families with children of all ages. Parents could also “relax.”

I've stayed in the Wysses Roessli before and was happy to bring friends back with me to stay in this property. Beautifully located in the city center square of Schwyz there are views from almost every room. We arrived by train which necessitated taking the bus to the Schwyz Zentrum stop but that was easy and the busses run often. From there the hotel is a one block walk. (There's a nice Condeterei you pass along the way.) The hotel staff is very friendly and informative. The rooms are large, well appointed, and comfortable. Wifi is fine and there are several outlets available for charging your devices. The breakfast is varied & ample, I believe they even had scrambled eggs for those who desire. Luggage storage is available. I love the little town of Schwyz and if I return will stay here again. During my first stay the restaurants across the square were a bit untypically noisy until late for the Swiss, rooms on the back side of the hotel would be quieter. I did not experience that on this stay. Property pictures are accurate. Highly recommended.
Featuring ski-to-door access, Stoos Lodge is located in Stoos in the Canton of Schwyz region, 20 miles from Einsiedeln Abbey and 27 miles from KKL Culture and Convention Center Lucerne.

This hotel brings new meaning to the term ski-in and is absolute perfection! This was our second stay but the first in the winter and it might be my favorite hotel in Switzerland. The views are insane, the rooms are immaculate and the food was fantastic. It was a luxurious little oasis to relax in after an amazing day hiking and sledging. For those with kids the play area looked amazing as well!
Spectacularly beautiful place. Lots and lots of hiking paths at all difficulties. Aerial cable car to higher regions and quick reliable bus connection to Brunnen (Swiss railway), the lake for swimming, and many other attractive locations. Good number of restaurants, and you can buy all you need. Excellent basis for mountains & lake holidays.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway with my family.
I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway with my family. The hotel has some pros and cons that I would like to share.
Pros:
- The staff were helpful and friendly. They answered our questions and gave us some tips on what to do in the area.
- The hotel has a small shop with a decent selection of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs.
- The room was spacious and comfortable. We had enough space for our luggage and belongings.
- The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the views and the fresh air.
- The wellness area was a nice bonus. We could use it before and after check-in and check-out, which was convenient.
Cons:
- The check-in and check-out times were not ideal for a weekend stay. We had to check in at 4 pm and check out at 10 am, which felt too rushed and limited our time to relax and explore.
- The hotel did not provide any towels. We had to bring our own or buy them from the shop. This was not mentioned in the welcome email or the website, which was misleading and disappointing.
- The hotel only gave us one small soap for two nights and three people. This was not enough for our hygiene needs. We had to buy more soap from the shop, which was an extra expense and inconvenience.
Overall, I think this hotel is overpriced for what it offers. For 300 CHF per night, I would expect more amenities and services, especially towels. The hotel has some potential, but it needs to improve its communication and customer satisfaction.

Morshach is quiet mountain town w/farmers etc.
Morshach is quiet mountain town w/farmers etc. It is very green and good for the soul. The road leading up the mountain is very narrow and the roads thru the town even narrower. Not many restaurants to choose from but there are more choices in nearby Brunner - a short drive.

This hotel is a fantastic family oriented place.
This hotel is a fantastic family oriented place. Of course it caters for couples and singles too! Basically, if you are looking for a fun time with kids, or a relaxing spa retreat - it has it all.
Children eat for free, that in itself is a big plus and the food choices for them were excellent.

In the apartment you have to do all the housekeeping yourself, eg. make beds on arrival. You can't simply take a shower, because the towels are not included, you have to pay extra and wait an hour till it's delivered. For 2 toilets with cold floor there was only 1 carpet. Those little things ruined our arrival.

The attention to detail starting from the check-in procedure (we requested a late check-in and it was accommodated gracefully), to the overall design of the room (somewhat austere but fully equipped) and the exceptional and healthy breakfast (meat selection is restricted but otherwise great range and enough protein sources). The view from the hotel was amazing in all directions. Spotlessly clean, and taking steps towards eco-friendly tourism. Our double room had an extra-spacious bathroom.
Beautiful location and fantastic view from the restaurant, bus stop in proximity, comfortable bed; very quiet outside and only birds wake you up in the morning. Breakfast was good with a great coffee. Hotel stuff was very nice, people really love their hotel and job, amazing lady Denise at the reception was very kind to answer all questions and requests
Having a lot of indoor options (including swimming pool, fitness center, bowling, snooker, etc)
is one of the biggest advantages of this hotel: we stayed for three nights and we have almost
not realized that it was raining outside. :-)
The staff was very friendly and helpful every time we needed.
Last but not least, the food was delicious!
