Art Déco Hotel Elite is a classically elegant building from the 1930s in the centre of Biel, only 200 metres from the train station and surrounded by many shops and boutiques.

The room was very nice. It had everything I needed for my short stay. The people at the reception were also friendly. The Gym was also good!

Courtyard by Marriott Biel Bienne features a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Biel. This 4-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.

The bed was comfortable (but had 2 hard nobbly things in the middle - half way down the mattress, & at the foot of it!), & the coffee provided was very nice :)

Set in Bellelay, 37 km from International Watch and Clock Museum, Auberge de Bellelay Restaurant Chez Aron Balde offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

It was a disaster. The hotel told us that there is no booking in our name. They didn’t have any rooms available. Because we travelled with our horses we couldn’t look for an other stay overnight. Finally they put us up in a dormitory with no showers and the toilets one story down. I guess I will never book again via booking.com With best regards Ursula McCreight

A car is a must visiting this area as it is isolated.

A car is a must visiting this area as it is isolated. This fact is also an advantage if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. No restaurants reachable by foot (except the local hotel from Thursdays to Sundays). No bakery in the village.
