15 miles from Lucerne Train Station in Sarnen, Luxury loft on top of Villa Wilen with tremendous views by the lake offers accommodations with access to a sauna.

The stay was exceptional. The view is breathtaking. Roland is an amazing host. We enjoyed a lot and definitely a hidden paradise in Switzerland

Request Type : Property Description Nowhere do the stars shine more intensely and the sunrises are more spectacular than on Pilatus Kulm. So close to Lucerne and yet in a completely different world.

The view on top of Pilatus is amazing. The breakfast and dinner are delicious, staff are friendly.

Located at the summit of Mount Pilatus at 7 feet above sea level, the Hotel Bellevue is reachable by aerial tramway or the world's steepest cog railway in summer.

Spectacular stay all around, from views, to the comfortable room and spectacular meals. It was more than we imagined. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making our stay extra special. The unique views, dining and solitude experienced staying in top of Pilatus will not disappoint.

    It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited.

    It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited. You won't find any typical souvenir shops here (with fridge magnets, key chains, cow bells etc.). Also, every supermarket is closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly.

    Sarnen is so beautiful with lush green hillsides, breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps, pretty streams and a peaceful lake. There are lovely walking trails and parks with boating activities and fantastic amenities. We were only able to stay a short while, but enjoyed a delicious dinner at Molini's, which we highly recommend. Everything we needed for our brief visit was within walking distance, or easy walk to the nearby train station.

    Sarnen is a lovely little town, with a wide range of shops, two supermarkets and a garage. There are lots of walks in the surrounding area which are well signposted. A small river runs through the centre. The town has a range of restaurants. It was very well situated for our overnight stop on a drive down to Italy.

    The apartment was gorgeous, fully furnished and located in a beautiful location. The owner of the apartment was really friendly. He took us for a short drive to show us the local attractions in Sarnen, places to eat, and a farm situated near the apartment. He even surprised us with delicious fresh loaves of bread the next day. The checking-out process was also convenient.

    Excellent location, it is only 3 mins away from the railway station. Extremely good staffs particularly I like to thank Mr. Erich, Ms. Gloria, Dinesh and team for their wonderful hospitality. It is a best hotel for family of four members. It is also well connected to interlaken Ost and Luzern.

    Gorgeous hillside views from this second floor room in a quiet but convient location. Free parking available under trees at the right side of the hotel. Nice modern styling to the interiors. Helpful staff at the Hotel Krone, we were particularly grateful for the late checkout.
