You get what you pay for, and the hotel's offerings reflect the price. That being said, the hotel is spotless! My well-sized en-suite room overlooked the beautiful Walensee, and I even had access to a spacious garden—perhaps they gave me this room because of my dog? The hotel restaurant was excellent—nice atmosphere, efficient service, well-sized tables, a great view of the lake, and a fantastic selection of Swiss food.
