Great service, excellent room, clean. Staff great. Lola's breakfast was great and very helpful, she suggested a restaurant to go to one night and it was excellent. Would recommend Hotel Zur Post.

I have stayed in this hotel since it first opened and have stayed there many times as a frequent traveller to Switzerland.
Unfortunately, the last two stays have been disappointing because of the lack of professionalism and issues with housekeeping.
The housekeeping have an unpleasant attitude. One time I asked them to change the linen (I had stayed many days already)and they said they will do it tomorrow, even though it takes a few minutes to do.
Another time they cleaned a small part of the floor and I had to ask them to return to clean the rest.
During this stay it had been 5 days and I asked them to clean the floors, when I returned there was crumbs and dirt on the floor, there were three housekeepers so I don’t understand how it can be so difficult. The hotel had very little occupancy (it was not busy) and there are always plenty of housekeepers; they go around in twos or threes but act like spending a few minutes in your room is extremely difficult and irritating.
Sometimes one of them is pleasant and willing but it seems another one is disgruntled and discourages them from doing a thorough job.
It is also difficult to get dishwasher tablets even though it has a kitchen and does not provide dish soap. Honestly I would happily clean my own apartment if the equipment was provided, but it’s not, and that is their job.
The kitchen was missing many basic things such as bowls and a chopping board, when I asked the receptionist, she said she didn’t know if they usually have them, to which I replied “you do, I have stayed here many times.” A housekeeper came and provided some bowls and a chopping board.
But did nothing to check if the place was equipped.
It’s really disappointing and I suspect there is a wide issue and lack of responsibility from staff.
Sometimes the toilet paper is not replaced, the bins are not changed, the soap dispensers not filled etc.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They somehow hit the balance between noticing and asking, if you need something, and not annoying you with too much attention. The food in the restaurant was great.

Of the Swiss swimming centers we've visited over the years, this one might strike the best balance between the needs of upper middle age parents and teenage kids.
For adults, there is a good choice of Saunas and pools, not overly crowded. For kids, there is a river run pool and now also a water slide. The overall atmosphere is relaxed, being neither a raucous party scene nor a sterile medical environment. The facility is small enough that you manage to find lost family members with reasonable effort.
The on-site restaurant is not very good, but there are good choices a short distance away. The neighborhood of the spa is a bit boring, but there's enough parking, and shopping for essentials. Travel time from Zürich is reasonable.

Pleasant town to explore on foot the little things which you don't always see when just driving through. By car or bike there are lots of interesting excursions close by. The Thermal SPA is exceptional.....none better in CH for my wife and I.

Wow, we were blown away by this hotel. The hotel itself was so cute, very clean, and central location - very close to supermarket, thermal spa, and some lovely restaurants. The room was really big, and the bed very comfortable. There was somewhere safe to place our bikes which was very helpful. There was a coffee machine in our room which was perfect, and the capsules kindly replaced the next day. The best part was the lovely member of staff, she was just fabulous, exceedingly kind and helpful and made our stay 10/10.
as always, we had such a fantastic time in Parkhotel with the family of 5. the room is spacious, the view is great, the food is perfect! the children always having great time in spa and the hotel. thanks a lot for your care…we will be back soon again!
hotel with some great character and an amazing restaurant! owners are lovely and made our stay after a long day of biking very easy. 5 min walk to baths too!
Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, hotel restaurant serving quality food, direct access to public thermal bath, live piano on Saturday evening.
