The Crowne Plaza Chaozhou was a bit of a disappointment probably because we stayed in the Crowne Plaza Quanzhou the night before which was excellent. This time everything was a little under expectations and the bed wasn’t to our comfort needs resulting in bad nights sleep. It was ok, but when you pay the higher price you want certain things. We did get a few free drinks in the bar on our 1st night which was a very nice gesture and very appreciated. We might try another hotel next time

The bed is very comfortable, with a mattress topper. 5 pillows were provided, of down, buckwheat and cooling pad foam contour. The room is very spacious. Breakfast is quite decent.

    Chaozhou is a wonderful eclectic mix of old and new. It's also surrounded by some fantastic nature spots like Qinglan geopark. And the food is absolutely delicious. Prepare to snack to your heart's content.
