Boasting a patio with garden views, a garden and a shared lounge, Dunhuang Hu Yang Inn can be found in Dunhuang, close to Dunhuang Historical Exhibition Park and 1.5 km from Dunhuang Longquan Villa.

The owner was friendly and helped us book the tours. He was always available on WeChat to answer our questions and help us book a taxi or anything. Spacious room, calm, clean, good beds.

Set in Dunhuang, less than 1 km from Dunhuang Museum, Right Here Hotel (Dunhuang International Youth Hostel) offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The hostel is situated very close to the Night Market and to the bus station where a shuttle bus to railway station, airport and Mogao Caves leaves. We booked a private room for two. At first sight, the room looked as if it was one of the most beautiful hostel rooms I've ever been to: nice furniture, thoughtful decoration, it even had a small balcony.

So much to see. The day trips were packed and whistle-stop.

So much to see. The day trips were packed and whistle-stop. I could have spent longer at most of the locations. Such a beautiful area. Because the day trips were so long, I needed to take a break between each one so I wasn't over-tired and I could properly enjoy the experience.

Very nice, well equipped and spacious room. The breakfast in the garden was pleasant, with simple but delicious dishes. There was a very sophisticated souvenir shop cum cafe in the hotel, and an art gallery, both of which we enjoyed spending time in. It was really conveniently located, close to the night market, so we walked around at night, which was cool enough for enjoying the market on the street.

Very good hotel for the price. Room is nice and clean and has everything you need. The staff there are super helpful with all questions from directions to tours and getting taxis. I went on a tour organised by the hotel to key places outside of Dunhuang like yumen pass and ghost city. The tour is good value and a must do. I would recommend to everyone for a trip to Dunhuang

The location is pretty great, 5 mins walk to the night market, where you'll find loads of amazing local dishes! The room is spacious, and lovely, decorated in Dunhuang style. The owner is a pretty nice guy, offered us lots of information for travel, food etc.
