The pros of this hotel is: free shuttle bus available to and from the airport; breakfast is quite tasty. Other than that was a TOTAL CRAP. Definitely a MINUS 5 STAR for hospitality. Shuttle bus driver was rude and unfriendly (raised his voice tone when I asked him to make sure if the shuttle bus is going to the right hotel). Best of the best low level of hospitality goes to male staff (around late 20s till early 30s wearing ring on his finger) at the front office. I need the Wi-Fi access to inform my family that I had made it to my hotel, but the Wi-Fi didn't seem to work. Tried on 2 different iPhones (one primary phone which is iPhone 8 bought from US and secondary phone which is iPhone 12 mini bought at Japan), both on its latest available OS version. I told the front office guy about my problem, and by using translation app he kept telling me that only apps of Mainland China can use the internet (which is not the real issue, because I didn't even manage to connect my device to the internet yet, let alone using any app). Without trying to understand what kind of problem I was dealing with, he repeated the same explanation and turned cold and sulky. I gave up and returned to my room with the Wi-Fi issue unresolved. Clearly this hotel staff wouldn't give a darn about any issue its guests have. Luckily it was just Wi-Fi. Imagine what poor guest would do if he/she had to deal with a more serious problem with the room. In my conclusion, THIS HOTEL ISN'T WORTH THE PRICE. If you're type of traveller who only needs a room to sleep at without any concern about any other thing, there are still quite cheaper option out there. No need to pay more money for this crap hotel.

This is my last night stay here, total 3 nights stay. Things are great as they should. Nice air conditioner with heater system. I stay on the 4th floor with good view. The hotel is under the group of joyful which provides other hotels like joyful yard, and shanghai deco. Next time I might explore others of them.

I appreciate the free shuttle service from the airport. When entering my room, it did smell smokey. I expressed this to the staff member, but they insisted it was a non-smoke room. Thankfully it wasn't too strong; however, whenever someone smoked outside, it would get under the door. I also heard people's conversations at night time so I recommend bringing earplugs for better quality of sleep. At the reception desk, it was always busy. Some guests cut in front of me to talk to the receptionists. I didn't take it personally, but I would've appreciated the receptionists noticing this and had the other guest wait. Breakfast isn't included in the reservation through Booking.com. When I went, there was a kind worker who helped explain the breakfast process. She accidently mixed up my room card with another guest and I had to fix this. It wasn't a big deal because she was busy helping multiple guests at that time. I do appreciate the reception desk quickly fixing this issue. Overall, I liked how close this hotel was to the airport and it was a comfortable stay!
