The hotel and the dorm were very clean. The hotel itself is great if someone is looking to relax in a nice place surrounded by nature. Going to the waterfalls are round is also convenient. It is around 20 min walk (uphill) for the town of Minca.

I've been here twice already and absolutely loved it both times. The staff are so lovely and the view from the rooms and from the restaurant are incredible. The cabañas are really nice with lots of attention to detail. Loved the outdoor bathroom too!

Stunning location and view from the room. Balcony has view overlooking the mountains. In the middle of nature with the sound of exotic birds. Fresh air and perfect for hiking to the waterfalls. Peaceful retreat. Thrilling ride by moto taxi (motorbike) to get there - not for feint hearted. Family run and friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Highly recommended experience.

We stayed a week at this small family run hostel 5km up the hill from Minca. The views are incredible. Many birds, including Toucans, can be viewed from the terrace. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom a bit of a squeeze. Very homely. Very tranquil. Jose and his family are extremely friendly and helpful and made our visit memorable. The meals are simple and varied. If you’re fit and enthusiastic there are several good trails further into the hills. The small pool is welcome after a hot day in the rainforest. Motorbike taxis are frequent to and from Minca. Highly recommended.

Good value for money however the room was so hot even with both fans on! Great location in the centre of town and helpful staff!
