The furniture was very outdated. There was an unpleasant smell in the room coming from old sheets and blankets. There was a TV with two remotes which none of them worked! There was only one channel available to watch on TV. We called the front desk several times and even though they assured us they were coming to fix it, no one came. The staff in the front desk were very disrespectful and condescending in the way they talked to customers. The breakfast food was not good with just a few choices to pick from. Very disappointing!

The location was very central and easy to find. Once I got inside it reminded me of different hostals I found in Europe, which was a pleasant surprise. At the end of the day I didn't get the chance to explore the facilities as I only stayed there for one night, but it seemed the place has a lot to offer.

We went to Bogotá for Estéreo Picnic Music Festival. The hotel has the best location for the public transport and beautiful surroundings. We had a good time in Sonesta with all the facilities to eat and rest for the festival days. Also, the staff were amazing.

The property has two buildings. On the first two nights we stayed in one, where the rooms seemed older and smelled of damp, and the shower was bad - it would spurt hot then freezing then hot and it was impossible to have a pleasant shower. The last night we stayed in the other building and it was much nicer with no problems.

I really enjoyed Bogotá. Some of the kindest and warmest people I have come across. I felt very safe and listened to the locals advice always. The historic neighbourhood of Candelaria was my favourite spot. The Museo de Oro is fantastic as well. We did a walking tour with company Beyond Colombia. It was excellent.

Amazing, with so much on offer. Like any city you visit you need to be street aware so Bogota is no different from the rest of the world. The city is busy but beautiful settled in the mountains with amazing views. I will be back again to explore more.

You should only spend time in Bogota if you like traffic, traffic jams, noise, dust and have time to spare travelling from point to point and paying the taxi for sitting in traffic. Colombia has so much to offer, so get on a plane from there and see the rest of it. (Ive been here for 18 years and just spending a weekend here has stressed me out)

The traffic is horrendous.
The traffic is horrendous. There is a feeling of insecurity if you don't blend in like a Latino. Can't carry your cell in your hands to navigate. You may feel safer in the touristy places where there's police presence.
Quite a few service people are impolite (taxi drivers, servers).

Staying in Bogotá is an immersive experience that blends...
Staying in Bogotá is an immersive experience that blends colonial history with modern energy. The city offers great views from the summit of Monserrate, where you can ascend via a funicular. The historic neighborhood of La Candelaria is a must-visit, with its cobblestone streets, vibrant street art, and rich cultural heritage.
There is the renowned Botero Museum, which showcases the works of Fernando Botero, and numerous smaller galleries.
The nightlife is lively, with a variety of bars and clubs offering everything from salsa to techno Overall, Bogotá is a city that seamlessly blends history, culture, and entertainment, making it an unforgettable destination for travelers.

Ok location, not a lot in the general area of the hotel but Transmillerno stop nearby allows a quick trip rip to airport or Bogotá city centre so avoiding the traffic.
Great staff, very welcoming. Rooms were clean and well maintained., really powerful shower in the bathroom.
Breakfast buffet was really great but would advise not to leave it to the last hour as food can run out.
I've been saying it for a while and will continue. It's the best hotel to stay when making a layover in Bogota. Close the airport, free shuttle to and from the hotel to aiport. Good breakfast included in price, they take care of you and your belonging with an smile. This time we used laundry services and luggage storage and was excellent.
Excellent stay close to the airport. I particularly appreciated the shuttle bus between airport and hotel, as well as the great buffet breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when in Bogota!
This small hotel has a great location, very close to the airport and also the "Nuestro Bogota" mall. The neighborhood is very safe. Rooms are clean and the facilities are well maintained.
