It’s either a new accommodation or under new management—either way, it’s clearly on its way to becoming a wonderful place to stay, though it still needs some refinement. This was our first accommodation in Colombia, and honestly, at the time we didn’t realize how welcoming and eager to improve the staff were compared to typical Colombian standards. The setting is really beautiful—surrounded by clean, vibrant nature, with many birds you can hear and see all around. The facilities are lovely, and we especially enjoyed the massage service. One of the best parts of our stay was meeting Karlos. He’s one of the rare people in the area who speaks English fluently, and he was not only incredibly helpful but also became a real friend to us. The manager was also excellent—always present and available around the property, doing his best to help with anything we needed. And a special thank-you for being so kind to our son, even surprising him with a lovely Christmas gift. We also want to mention a mistake we made while booking—we accidentally reserved the same dates, but for January 2025 instead of December 2024! We only realized this on the way to the hotel, thanks to their driver. Despite the confusion (and the booking being non-refundable), they cooperated with us kindly and helped us rebook a different room for an additional fee (which was only because the original room wasn't available and they upgraded us to a higher-tier one).

Really nice area, food at the restaurant was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Just 10 min down the road by mototaxi/bus from El Rio if you are looking for a great party.

This hotel exceeded our expectations and was the perfect place to unwind after a long trip around Colombia. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. They even offer a convenient WhatsApp service for any questions or to pre-book meals, which adds a thoughtful touch to the experience. Speaking of meals, the food is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. This is a beautiful designed hotel in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by flowers, plants, birds and the beautiful Don Diego River. The Rooms are amazing I tried both the tree house and the suite and I can recommend both experiences. The hotel has a boat that will take you to a real beach, organized with private sun beds and a bar for hotel guests. The Kayak activity is mind blowing. My private tour with Tyrona with Brian was excellent. He is a very good guide and very knowledgeable. Food is over all good This is a special piece of paradise in heart and once in it, you will not want to leave. Massages are very good. The staff is sweet and friendly. Santiago was amazing. So far I think I will go back to this place often as it is one of my favorite now.
