Loved this place vs. the beach hostels. Both good for different occasions but I like the more tranquil and secluded vibe there is here compared to the super social hostels for certain stays!! Bed is hard ish. Loud music next door on Thursday and Saturday (Friday was just karaoke- not too loud and not too late at least during my stay). Also you can go to the parties at any of the hostels down the beach if you want

A wonderful beachfront experience! We stayed in the 3rd floor suite and we're greeted with ocean breezes and beautiful views. The room was comfortable but it's helpful to know that it's a little closer to "glamping" than a typical hotel room. The walls are not sealed and there's a large open air window in the bathroom so you're living with nature - many geckos in particular, which we enjoyed. There's no hot water (or even a nob) but a cold shower is welcomed in the heat. The location is stunning but you need to be prepared to carry your suitcase about 5 minutes down the beach in the sand or have cash on hand to pay a friendly local to do it for you.
I highly recommend if you're looking for something on the beach and off the grid.

I ate both breakfast and dinner at the property, rotating among all the options, and loved everything I tried. I was surprised how much private space I had (King room with ocean view) including my own little private beach with comfy seating. I loved that I could minimize the environmental impact of my stay by using solar power and composting toilet; I never saw a single plastic bottle or plastic bag the whole time I was there. On Saturday night I could hear the thumping music of a nearby resort; I was SO glad that at Lote 10 Glamping you only hear the pounding ocean, all day and all night. I especially appreciated the staff: you can whatsapp reception and request that your breakfast is brought to your room, and if you get a massage, the massage therapist comes and sets up in your private space. They were flexbible in allowing a late check-in when I arrived. On my last day I thought my shoes had been stolen from where I'd left them to dry on my private beach area; a helpful staff member looked through security camera footage and discovered that they'd been taken by a staff member and brought to the bar for safekeeping. Alex and David, along with the entire kitchen staff, made me feel very well cared for.

Great hotel in the beautiful nature, everything was lovely, the room was super spacious and comfortable. The facilities were very good, the pool, the bar, the hostel next door is like the little brother of this one, you can go chill there, and it was a bit more social.

The location of Playa Pikua is amazing - right on the beach. We loved hearing the waves at night as we slept and waking up to the birds chirping. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. They assisted us in coordinating a boat ride to Tayrona Park and a taxi to the airport. We enjoyed breakfast served to us directly in front of the ocean each day and the food was delicious. While they don't serve lunch or dinner there, you can easily walk to any of the other 3-4 hostels next door to enjoy a meal or a drink.
On average, 3-star hotels in Guachaca cost $40 per night, and 4-star hotels in Guachaca are $61 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Guachaca can be found for $245 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).

Guachaca was a nice tiny village to stay in with proximity to both Buritaca and Costeño beaches and Tayrona park. It's easy to catch the bus to take you along the main road to these other towns and some hikes. You can swim in the Guachaca river and there is a hike up to a waterfall on the river as well, Cascada Saltillo.
