We had a fantastic time at Monasterio del Viento! It exceeded our expectations, especially since this was our first time visiting Providencia, and we weren’t sure how the island had recovered from the 2020 hurricane. The hotel is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat.
Alvaro, Melie, and the two ladies who cooked were all amazing—so welcoming and attentive. We still think about the delicious ceviche we had for lunch!

It had a sea view with balcony, swimming pool, good breakfast, friendly staff. It didn’t have a sandy beach, but you could still swim. Had bottled water that you could refill water bottles and coffee available early morning.Big plus was that it hot water for showers. Also provided beach towels.

Everything was great. The place is right by the beach so it was really peaceful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was really good.

I loved their location so close to the water and the view. Enjoyed the hammocks and playing with their Labrador dog.

I Loved staying at this posada!!! Fantastic location next to the beach meetup spot for my favorite dive shop, anda di wata. Next to beautiful, long beach and plenty of amenities like grocery stores, a great bakery, the dive shop. Easy to get a ride to another part of the island with a driver pickup. Excellent value, beautiful garden in front of apartment. I had a full kitchen and bath, great ac, fans, a hammock to sit out and read, and watch geckos from at night. Owned by fantastic woman and amazing staff. Very sweet small doggy and cat who would befriend you if you paid attention to them but leave you alone otherwise. I was also able to do fairly demanding computer work with very fast internet here.
