Located in Los Naranjos, a few steps from Playa de Mendihuaca, Senda Kokkos Beach has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area.

Beautiful grounds, the staff are all so friendly and attentive, the room itself is very nice occupied with everything you need. There were always sun beds available in both pool and beach area. Very secure there is always someone by front main door and only allows guests in. Free breakfast was good. Public transport stops right in front of the hotel which makes it really easy to move around, there was a good amount of restaurants around if you decide to eat out. Overall I would have given it a 10 star if it wasn’t for minor inconveniences

Offering a beach area, outdoor pool, and restaurant, Villa Maria Tayrona, Jungle and Sea Experience is located in Los cocos, 1.2 mi from Piedras River.

The folks at the front desk have a "How can I help?" attitude, not strictly following protocol. That is what customer service should be. Awesome service.

Located in Los Naranjos, a few steps from Playa de Mendihuaca, Casa Xue Tayrona - Alma Hotels has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Staff were lovely and amazing cooks - food was great value and very tasty. The sunset from the communal area was amazing!! Unfortunately our room wasn’t great. We booked a ‘mountain view’ but instead had a view of the carpark as it was the only lower floor room, which was very disappointing. The entrance to this room is a path that goes under a dripping pipe from a higher rooms air con, the path is also unlit with a barbed wire railing, which in the dark was extremely dangerous. If you have one of the two floors above our room then the view is probably nice and there is no dangerous path to enter the rooms. Blinds in the room were also broken so we could not fully close. There was no soap or conditioner in the room, just empty bottles, when we asked for more they said they had none. On our last day we were given some conditioner though. We enjoyed our stay regardless but do not feel this is a 4 star hotel.

Located in Los Naranjos, 1.4 miles from Los Naranjos Beach, The Journey Hostel has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Location: About 15-20 min walk to Tayrona National Park. The common area is very big and really relaxing, ideal for meeting other travellers. The rooms were really good. I stayed here twice (before and after a stay in Tayrona National Park). The first stay was in a 10 bed dorm which was open (no walls) to the lovely breeze. It was designed really well and didn't feel that there were 10 beds in it. The second stay was in an air conditioned 8 bed dorm which was good also. The have an excellent pool area overlooking the jungle. The staff are really friendly and chilled which adds to the atmosphere. It's the best Hostal I've stayed in after over 6 months of travel.

Fantastic hotel tucked away from the busier tourist areas .

Fantastic hotel tucked away from the busier tourist areas .Very relaxing , car or taxi needed to visit restaurant's away from this area . Swimming in the sea is not possible due to strong waves but the pool at the hotel was lovely . We ate at the hotel most night and food and drinks were good value . Highly recommended for a relaxing escape

Beaches are not as packed as they commonly are in Santa Marta during high seasons. Nice place to relax while being surrounded by beautiful nature. Of course, not everything is perfect, but you wouldn't expect that while visiting Latin America. As it is outside the city, it can be a bit hard to find good restaurants, so you might want to find a hostel with its own restaurant or book one with a kitchen to cook your meals.

The best hostal in Tayrona!!! Great small cozy and confortable hostal in the middle of the nature with great views. The room was spacious with a great bed and a private bathroom, great view to the mountains and quiet in the night. I will definitely be back soon. Delicious coffee and pancakes for breakfast. Its 8 minutes walking from the road and 15 minutes walking to the beach los cocos.

Proximity to Tayrona really good - El Zaino entrance and walks. Other destinations a longer taxi ride (such as Minca) but all manageable. Property itself is lovely. Immaculate, spacious and a very good food offering. Delightful service. Nice pool and lots of space around to take in diffract views. Only negative is the weak shower pressure (cabana 1). Easy drop down to beach and sea - and very atmospheric bar for sundowners. Pretty much perfect

Liked: Came here in October 2021 and returned mainly because the place is absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning, you're in the middle of nature and wherever you look there are amazing birds or giant trees. Disliked: During our five day stay, the water was cut three times and electricity went out twice (this didn't happen last year). Also, almost every night a noisy water leakage would start under the cabin and the last night there was a hydraulic motor-bomb malfunction nearby, very noisy as well. Every time I called the administration and they responded in good will, sometimes being able to help and sometimes not. But these issues are clearly the result of long-term poor management, and there is only so much the on-site staff can do. Also, the hotel sells the idea of being able to offer good wi-fi: nothing could be further from the truth. Wi-fi is extremely unstable. You can go hours, even days without connection. So this is not a good place to go if you require a stable internet signal. I went with the idea of working remotely and had a negative experience in that department. This said, it wasn't a horrible couple of days, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next trip.

Los Naranjos is a great place of you want to visit the nearby Tayrona National Park. The main park entrance is just 3 km away. The area of the hotels is within a private property with access to private beaches and the Playa de los Angeles.

This hotel is a real treat. It lays directly in the jungle, but the beach is only 5 min walking distance via a private and beautiful trail. We saw monkeys and parrots, while enjoying drinks at the pool, I had a nice massage and the views are amazing! What made our stay even better was the staff. Everybody was super nice and helpful. But the best part of our stay was the food! This chef offered colombian food with great twists, as well as international food. Everything was fresh and tasteful, such as the drinks. We loved every bit of our stay!

The hotel room we stayed in was excellent - the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was massive, and there was plenty of space inside. There was also a lovely balcony with a hammock. The pool area was pleasant although we did not swim. Great location if you are going to el zaino entrance of Tayrona. You could also walk to the Los Angeles beach (reception give you an access card so you don't have to pay). Staff were lovely

The hotel is a bit further away from the park, if you take the colectivo it will take around 10mn. It's super cute, super calm, and well managed. We only stayed one night, but it was great. You can pay by card too ! Yes, the water is cold, but if you've been traveling around Colombia for a bit, it won't be frightened you

Incredible location overlooking a beach with dramatic waves and nearby a river with a caiman reserve (they don’t appear near guests). Lovely pool, great food, fresh juices, and above all a warm, professional staff that goes out of their way to help. The hotel is 10 minutes by hotel transport to the park entrance. Perfect!
