The location is very good, close to various parts in the city of Medellín (of course, given the astonishingly jammed the streets are in that city, you have to plan very carefully where to stay depending on where you will go, what you plan to visit).

Good location next to the metro but wouldn't recommend for light sleepers. The beds are uncomfortable and it's very loud next to the main road. The breakfast is awful and showers are cold

This is a good hotel in a great neighborhood. The room was a nice size, and we were given one with a balcony facing the street.
The air conditioning worked very well, and the in-room fridge was a useful addition. The shower room was compact, and the hot water could have been better.
The staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent, with scrambled eggs made to order. Meals are served on the rooftop terrace, which is a lovely setting. The terrace also features a jacuzzi.
The location is excellent, with a lively main street full of bars, restaurants, and street food just two blocks away.

Medellin is a beautiful city but you have to watch where and when you go out. SAFETY is the main concern in Medellin. Do NOT walk and go out alone especially at night. Safeguard you mobile phone and do NOT wear jewelries and expensive watches!.

Medellin is an amazing city.
Medellin is an amazing city. It's so unique and interesting to learn about its history. It has become an incredible destination to explore and we reccomend it highly. It has so much to offer keen travellers outside of just narco tourism which you see on the Internet. We would loved to have spent more time there. The food was fantastic and transport around the city either by metro/cable car or taxis was really easy and cheap. A trip to comuna 13 is a must and also paragliding over the city.

Overall a beautiful city with amazing history.
Overall a beautiful city with amazing history. Normal travel cautions should be taken whenever you visit somewhere and Medellín is no exception, but don’t be nervous about traveling here. There is so much to do, food to try, as well as culture and history to learn about!

I definitely recommend exploring Medellin.
I definitely recommend exploring Medellin. It has a lot of cool history and produces some amazing reggaeton artists. I wanted to see more but my stay was too short. The metro is super clean and easy to navigate.

If you have a whole day, go visit Guatape and spend the day, it's a beautiful 2-hour ride thru the countryside and a beautiful town, colorful and full of life and things to do. I love it

Medellin is greener than Bogota and Cartagena.
Medellin is greener than Bogota and Cartagena. We do like both the Historic Center and Comuna 13. There is an excellent yet affordable restaurant named, Panaderia Dulce Paladar (Bakery Santa Teresita), opened 24 hours and around the corner near Hotel Living 35. We used Uber and tours most of the time to visit attractions because of the heat in February.

Very pretty place and super friendly, helpful staff. I initially booked this guest house, I arrived in the early afternoon and heard construction sounds near my room. When I asked for a quieter room they offered to relocate to the nearby luum boutique hotel. It was equally nice, friendly and comfortable, and much quieter. Slept very well and one of the best arepas con huevos I had in Colombia :)
Amazing!
The rooftop with the amazing view by night and the cocktails,
The guys at the reception are incredibly kind and helpful.
Thanks to David, Juan, the barmaids who made nice cocktails and a special thanks to Charlie for sharing about Colombia's culture and for his good cocktails too.
I'll recommend this hostel for sure!
You made me feel like home in Medellín. ❤️
If you want to feel like you have a Colombian grandma and a Spanish father that knows all the best spots in Medellín come and stay here. The house is wonderful, the home cooked meals are amazing and nothing is ever too much to ask for. Mariano has a divine taste in art, so if you want to be visually and culinary spoilt you know where to book.
The service was great, staff very helpful, the room huge and comfortable, the bar service to the room a super great surprise and the breakfast the best we had in Colombia. Many thanks to the concierge from Venezuela (can’t remember his name!) so helpful and kind! This hotel should be rated a 10, it’s one of the mos silent in Poblado!
