We arrived during slow season when they were doing repairs to the roofs. Hence there were very few travelers. Arturo, the dueño, did all he could to make ourstay pleasant nonetheless. The swimming pool was a fine feature, with clear un-chlorinated water at ambient temperature. They cooked us a fine breakfast and made us an off-the-cuff dinner when we told them we didn’t wish to go out.

I absolutely loved everything about Bambusa hotel. One of my favourite places I have ever stayed (and I worked at a travel magazine for years). Such lovely people, beautiful rooms and the most breathtaking location. Breakfast looking out onto the mountains every morning! Wow.
