I absolutely loved the views (tranquil and stunningly green, walkable to Salento) and the hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. The entire site is beautifully designed and the breakfasts were simple but tasty. We had the opportunity to use the jacuzzi which is surrounded by lush greenery.

The property is at the quieter end of ‘town’ and is a real retreat when you visit. Everything is beautifully managed and clean and the staff are wonderful and friendly. The rooms are super, but as other reviewed have said, can be a little noisy as the lead into the terrace where people eat. Personal highlight were the two little dogs who live there. Recommend 💚

Salento is a magical town! its streets are colorful and people are really kind. You must try "Arroz con leche" from El Cesar Sabor Celestial. Literally is the best rice pudding in the world!!! it's really famous.

The town was cute and clean. People were friendly. It’s an easy walking town with fun live music and places to eat and drink. The cócora valley hike is a crazy touristy zoo if you dont go super early. If you like to hike then go counterclockwise and hike up to the hummingbird sanctuary first. Lots of good chill coffee shops.

The setting of Salento is truly stunning and if you can really get out in nature it's fantastic. The main part of town is all tourists and is like a pretty painted Colonial mall for tourists with shopping and bars/restaurants. We enjoyed walking around and doing some shopping but would have been better with a couple hours in town and then staying out in the country.
We did the wax palm hike. It was an easy hike and the wax palms and countryside are beautiful, but it's overrun with people and more like a nature walk at Disney with tons of concessions and steps built into the hillside.

Love this cute little town with color houses and a beautiful church on the main plaza. Lot's to do in the surroundings. Horseback riding, hicking in the Vallee del Cocora (magical) do the big loop. Visiting coffee farms. Good restaurants and an affordable price.

We were pleasantly surprised by how lively the town of Salento was. Bumi and Cumana for lunch and dinner, respectively, are great food options.
It's worth playing some Tejo at Cancha de Tejo Los Amigos one night (inexpensive and unique activity).
We would highly recommend hiking at La Finca Carbonera. We also really enjoyed our coffee tour at Finca El Ocaso.
In hindsight, we would have skipped our horseback riding excursion as we didn't find it very relaxing, though the tour guide was very kind.
Getting around is reasonably easy, but having your hotel book transportation on your behalf is likely necessary.

It’s a small colourful town with a lot of restaurants cafes shops and activities around. We stayed four days and liked it a lot. Even it’s a tourist town we liked it maybe because it’s not a high season in June.

I’ve been travelling in Colombia for a month now and this was my favourite place that I’ve stayed so far. It was very clean and really homely and the owners and the staff were delightful and so helpful. Louis helped me book trips and gave me great tips for places to eat, he also helped me carry my very heavy case to the room and then to the taxi. Would highly recommend Terrazas de Salento to anyone looking for a clean, authentic and quiet hotel that is only a couple of minutes walk to the Main Street.
The hotel is really nice and the people who work there are extremely helpful and kind, which made our stay even better 😊
The property is beautiful and well decorated and mantained. The food is great and the location gives you a sense of immersion in the nature although you are actually really close to the village of Salento.
Overall it is a really good value for money experience and I recommend it 100%
A beautiful space in nature, super peaceful. At first it might feel a bit isolated but various buses including the one to Salento stop 5 minutes from the hotel, and the reception can always call you a taxi. The breakfast, served in the garden, is great and the personnel is nice and very helpful. Would really recommend!
Great position in salento. Just 1-2min away from the plaza where the most of life is during day and night.
Lovely rooms and establishment, i think its the most colorful hotel we have ever been to.
There are some activities you can plan from the hotel reception, but we didnt need it.
Thank you for the nice stay!
The hotel is very close to the center while also offering a lot of tranquility and a beautiful view to the mountains. The staff members were excellent, all very kind and helpful. The bedrooms were comfy and clean. I planned to stay 2 nights and extended to 3 as I loved Salento and was very happy with the hotel!
