I cannot recommend Cabinas Jiménez highly enough. I have stayed there 3 separate times and have loved my stay each time! The owners and staff are so lovely and will go out their way to ensure you have a fantastic experience. They have upgraded my room for free, stored my personal baggage while at Corcovado, and have recommended so many amazing places in the Osa Peninsula. The rooms are cleaned impeccably and you can even take out kayaks on the Golfo Dulce for free!

I had such an amazing stay at Nereus in Puerto Jiménez! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was incredible. They immediately asked about my dietary restrictions and made sure I had plenty of delicious vegan protein options—every meal was absolutely amazing.
The rooms were super cute and cozy, and the pool was a great place to relax. The beach is just a short walk away, with soft sand and stunning views. The yoga space is one of the most beautiful I’ve practiced in, and daily yoga sessions added such a peaceful rhythm to my stay.
The property is gorgeous, with monkeys playing in the trees and so much natural beauty all around. The owners were truly delightful—warm, welcoming, and attentive.
I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. If you get the chance to stay at Nereus, take it!

A very nice getaway surrounded by forest, wildlife, and the sound of the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the cabins were simple, but confortable.

The individual villas provided wonderful views of the lagoon and ocean. Views from the bathroom was a bonus. Owner/hosts were very friendly and accommodating and directly supported the evening discussions. Room was quite comfortable and basic. Expect to see and hear birds of all descriptions right from your private terrace.
Located in Pavones, a 10-minute walk from Playa Pavones, Brahman Bungalows on Pavones Point has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities.
Cabinas Tropicales is offering accommodations in Puerto Jiménez. With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.
I wish I could have stayed longer. Make sure to visit Backwash beach and Mar Luna Lodge/Martinas for dinner. The hosts are impeccable, and the facilities are everything you need and more. DO yourself a favor and book here.
