Probably the nicest hotel we stayed in while in Costa Rica. It was immaculately clean (which we found quite rare in CR), the facilities were modern and in great condition, the aircon was fantastic, hot water in the shower, the room was spacious and overall it was great value for money.
There's a nice restaurant just around the corner (Chimichanga's) and a grocery store close by.

The owner is a very kind and informative gentleman . He speaks perfect English. He sets an example of excellence for his staff. And they, the staff, follow his example very well, they were excellent, too. The room was nicely appointed with a great view, especially of the city lights at night. The king-size bed was very comfortable. Although, for its mountaun location and elevation, an extra blanket would have been welcomed for the cool nightly temperatures. We enjoyed a nice, quiet, and relaxing evening sitting in the outside dining area just before going to bed. We drove in from Panama and continued our drive to the San Jose, Purisil area the next day. Breakfast is complimentary. My wife and I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The seafood soup and rice deserve recognition as the best we've tasted!
