The tent we stayed in was absolutely fantastic. Spacious, decorated with care and cosy lighting. The robes were nice and fluffy and the bed comfy. The outside shower was nice and warm. The outside kitchen was well stocked. We adored the hot tub amidst the lush plants outside. Fabulous and fun vibe. The host took hid inspiration from Jurassic Park, which made me laugh and I must say I think he did well. At one point I was walking along the road to Proyecto Asis (which I highly recommend visiting especially the sloth tour). It is not far, but a bit of a hair raising hike. I got a text from the owner that his father (who lives nearby) had seen me walking along the road…was I okay?! Haha, yes fine. Lovely family. I felt looked out for actually.

This was a special place. It was farther away from Arenal than I expected, which at first was disapointing; however, there are beautiful hikes are areas all around here that are stunning and almost empty. Excellent, comfortable facility with good food and wonderful staff.

Room was super clean. Beautifully finished container conversion. Cozy little balcony in the back over looking a nice wooded area. Considering the room is only about 100 meters from a main road and a couple of bar-restaurants it is Super quiet. Room is perfect for an individual or a couple. It is equipped with a very comfortable queen size bed, Wi-fi, a desk to work if needed, a coffee maker, coffee, sugar, cream, a small fridge, good size TV, A/C, plenty of plug ports to charge your devices and a beautiful size bathroom. Amazing hot springs! Wow wow wow! The staff was great and very friendly. We took the family cabin for 4 people with the kitchen and it was great. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed in a beautiful lodge which was extremely comfortable and immaculately clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant was excellent and we loved the pool and hot tub, especially in the evenings. La Finca Lodge was a really special place for us to stay on our first visit to Costa Rica.
