Overall, the hotel is pretty great and the owners are lovely. It's very quiet, the rooms are nice and the beds firm. The owners cook their own meals at the restaurant, it takes some time but it's very tasty. For the money you pay (which is half the price of most villas in the vicinity) it's a steal. Right on the beach, close to the main road and a bunch of places to eat. The pool is large, bigger than most tiny hotel pools, and is cleaned regularly. Rooms are also cleaned a few times a week. There are howler monkeys living in the trees right next to the hotel.

This smart little retro wooden hotel is in a wonderful position just off the great beach in a quiet part of town. The common areas were fantastic places to sit and relax, particularly watching the world and wildlife go by from the first floor veranda. Our deal included a delicious breakfast served by the friendly and efficient staff. The rooms only have cool rather than warm showers but that's often all you want in the heat

Good location if you're just looking to spend the night before continuing on your way. The only minus point is that some kids were playing football in front of my room at 10pm, and then again at 6 something am, which was annoying because i could hear them through my earplugs.
