Not in a touristy area. Pods were cool and very well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. Showering outside was a very cool experience. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was lovely and accommodating.

La Finca is a FANTASTIC family owned lodge. From the minute you arrive Staff are very friendly and helpful with making recommendations for things to do and see. Andres provided us with names of local dinning spots and hot springs to visit. The restaurant provides exceptional quality food at breakfast and dinner. This was our second time visiting and we look forward to the next!

The Koi Room is a lovely, relaxing, calm stay on a small hill overlooking Ciudad Quesada, San Carlos. The many windows allow a fresh breeze to flow through and give a magnificent view (clouds permitting!) of the mountains across the valley. Host Kristina is wonderful and accommodating, and the pets (three cats and two dogs) are adorable. The space is quiet and clean, with super cute decorating; the bathroom design is lovely.
We arrived tired on our road trip and were delighted to have juice, coffee, tea, and snacks in the room. The outdoors koi (goldfish) pond with its soothing little waterfall is a delight.
Follow the GPS and turn before the pulperia (little store) on the unpaved road. It is fantastic to be in a quiet neighborhood with no traffic noise.
