Everything was great, the apartment was beautiful, with modern furnishing, very quiet with very little noise being heard from the others apartments. We especially appreciated the spacious bath tub and the possibility of parking our car comfortably on the roof of the building. Also, there is a supermarket on the ground floor of the building, where you can comfortably buy groceries without going out. Very good value for the money in comparison with other accomodations; I keep coming back to here, whenever I am in the town!

The Christmas market was great, and the old town area is nice - just like any/most old town areas. There are some sights to see, but mid-late December isn't a good time to visit. It's a good base to do day trips from, for example Cesky Krumlov is 30 minutes by car, you can visit a zoo or castle, go hiking, etc.
Be sure to check out Přemysl Otakar II Square and its surroundings, most sights are within 10 minutes of walking distance there.

It's a small old town with very few things to see. It has one main square and the Black Tower which you can climb up to and see the view. Other than that, it doesn't have much to offer. I also found that it wasn't very safe at night, we even encountered a gang fight during our stay.
However, it's convenient as a "base" for people who want to explore the South Bohemia region or want to do a bicycle tour and enjoy the nature around the area.
But if you want to visit a nice quaint little Czech town with cobblestone streets, nice cafés/restaurants, and beautiful views, go to Cesky Krumlov.

The city itself is very cute, the old center is actually not huge, but there is a nice park around it, which was home to some concerts and events at the time of our visit (early June).
Not only is it a cute town in itself, it is also very well located to explore the region. Cesky Krumlov is 25-ish minutes drive away, the Lipno treetop walkway is about 1 hour. Pilsen is around 2 hours drive. There is a plethora of super cute towns and also a lot of beautiful nature and possibilities for biking and hiking in the entire area.

Lovely historic town, super Xmas markets - better than Prague. Loads of great bars and several superb microbreweries as well as the world famous Budvar brewery which is well worth a tour.
Great parks and loads of easy walking around the town make it a pleasure to visit.
Good transport links and nearby Cesky Krumlov is a must see.

For a Czech city it was surprisingly uninspiring, the old town is beautiful and it's easy to get around. There is no castle or other major attraction. There's a brewery which proved to be very interesting.

The room was clean and very spacious. We had a room at the back, so it was quiet. Staff were helpful. Close, walkable distance to shopping and buses and train station. Breakfast was well presented, with a good choice of cereal, cold meats, salad, pastries, eggs, different breads, fruit, and sausages. Good for families. There are lots of fantastic places to eat at close by, and the Lido is a short walk away, too. Ceske Budejovice is a great city to stay in.
I travel o lot , but rarely find such genuinely friendly and welcoming hosts. Nothing was difficult for them, spent time explaining things and have a chat. The apartment was cosy in the building in excellent location, just a few metres from the bus stop, taking you in 7 mins to the historical centre of Českê Budějovice . I had a great time and
I recommend it highly .
First of all I want to mention the owner, who did everything for us to feel comfortable, great man. The location for good for us, because we didn't want to go to Ceske Budejovice. We got a room with air conditioner, which was great. The parking is free and private one. The breakfast was fine and the dinner was great, we recommend the borscht. Overall a great experience.
Great location. Parking inside the hotel's groundfloor. Wifi was stable. Room was compact, bathroom was quite big. No shower, but bathtub. Breakfast was great: not the average hotel breakfast but nice little sandwiches and snacks. The staff was quick to refill everything.
We enjoyed the fact that the hotel wasn´t crowded and noisy. It is situated in a quiet area near the city center and is easily accessible by public transport or car.
The breakfast was very nice.
