Great location at the heart of the park. Multiple buses in front of the hotel.
Restaurant in the hotel with good food and very reasonable price. Breakfast was really abundant.
Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable.

Amazing huge size of the room, the bathroom and the balcony. The AC was working well and very quiet during the night. Decent breakfast with coffee/tea, juices, different types of bread, cold cuts, boiled eggs and veggies.

Super nice and accommodating staff. The eggs and fruits for breakfast were wonderful as well. Our room had a shared bathroom but it was a super comfortable and clean set-up.

Zlata Lipa Hotel is a newly renovated former hunting lodge, located on the outskirts of Decin, 0.7 mi from the center, in the very heart of the Czech-Saxon Switzerland.
Really nice walks around, hiking trails, forest, etc! Very beautiful and the trails are very clearly marked. I recommend the app mapy.cz to find the trails from the village. We were without a car which was a bit tricky because the bus from Decin is not easy to find, and when we hiked from there to other locations we had to order a taxi back which was pricey (but we walk very slowly, if you’re faster you can make it a round trip or hike back). But taking the bus from Janov back to Decin was very easy. If you’re vegetarian or vegan take in account that you’ll have to eat mostly potatoes and tomatoes all over the area. There is a small mini market in Janov. Also, most people in the whole area don’t speak English at all - only German and Czech! So you might want to have internet connection to use google translate.

Janov is a small country village, with some pretty vernacular (upper lusatian) houses, like many in the region. no shops, a couple of restaurants, and an impressive look out tower. Lots of flowers and fruit trees. Locals ready with a smile.

Nice, comfortable, quaint hotel, near located at all Hot Spots of the „bohemian Swiss“. Great selection at the breakfast buffet.
We had small organization trouble regarding reservation with dog, but super well and discreetly solved from the manager. Thanks for that. 👍🏻👍🏻
When we we‘re near by, we would swing in again.
A very friendly and quiet hotel. It is certainly a bit outdated, but still comfortable and very clean. Dinner and breakfast are nothing fancy, but healthy and sufficient. The surprise of the stay was a performance by a local jazz pianist. Made for a nice evening!
We had a really nice big room with a balcony. The personnel was very friendly and always helpful. For hiking, the hotel is an ideal starting point (which unfortunately we could not take full advantage of due to a current wildfire in the national park).
