This is a review for smaller apartment, as we agreed with the owner to switch because at the end there were just 3 of us. The apartment was great, really big, with comfortable beds, sofa, TV, small kitchen corner, kitchen table and chairs. The only think that would be great is a kitchen sink, otherwise you have everything for a short stay (small fridge, microwave, stove top, kettle). The location is great, in the city center, with everything nearby, including bus and train station.

The main draw to Louny for me is the Zichovec brewery, which I'm a big fan of. That aide, it's a pleasant small Czech town with some pretty architecture, and the walking path with a view of the river and nearby hills is also nice. One can walk in the nearby countryside also. Food wise, we had no problem finding a good meal. Most of all, is quiet and calm, and so a nice escape for those living in a larger city.

Louny is old czech city.
Louny is old czech city. There is medieval gothic church with accesible tower, museum and interesting Benedict Rejt Modern Art Gallery. There are many cafeteries. I reccomend cheap but very good vegetarian restaurant in baroque hospital. Surroundings offer many sightseeings (castles Nový Hrad-Jimlín, Stekník, Krásný Dvůr, Libochovice, Budyně, mystique menhirs, churches - Panenský Týnec, Dolní Ročov, hills - Raná, Oblík, and especially UNESCO protected region of Žatec with phantastic old synagogue, Meder's House and many monuments connected with traditional hop planting and lager brewing.

The property was well located, about 10 - 15 minutes walk from Louny Mesto railway station. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was pleasant with a reasonable variety of hot and cold items.
