Perfect in basically every way, with an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Via Ironia is what I'd consider a boutique place for a romantic getaway, located just above a beautiful and exceptionally good restaurant. I was just here alone for a metal concert, however, but it was the only room available in a small town so I grabbed it and hoped for the best. Wow, was I amazed by the quality of the room, the food (incredibly good!), and the service who all went out of the way to help me with some special requests, and remained friendly and professional the entire time. I could not have imagined better, and I'm so grateful I stayed in such a comfortable and friendly place. The price might have been a little higher than I expected for a small town, but the service made it well worth it. Additionally, the room was large and very nicely painted and decorated. Bathroom was also large, clean and modern with tasteful tiling. Beds were a little soft to my taste, but very clean and comfy enough. Windows had terrific blackout shades, allowing me to get some needed extra sleep after the late show. Really felt like a nice place for locals to have a holiday away from home. View of the garden outside was great. Restaurant also had a beautiful outdoor garden with a fountain and lovely gate. Food as I mentioned was outstanding, and priced right. Large wine selection which was nice. Location was perfect, just outside of the main town square. Lots of pretty things to walk around and see, including an incredible cathedral. Main train stop just a 10 minute walk away. By the way, the concert venue was way, WAY better than I imagined. They really put money and effort into making a professional venue, and the concert and staff were both amazing. Very unexpected, and most welcome.
