Situated in Sloup, 40 km from Špilberk Castle, Hotel Stara Skola features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

I’ve been to over 20 countries and this was my favourite place of all time!! The main reason I say this is because I went in as a non-Czech speaker and I have never been treated with such kindness and level of accommodation before… The nice girl who checked me in was there every morning to explain how breakfast was going to work and brought out an English menu for me, I never had to ask. This place and that nice girl must be protected at all cost!!!

Set within 32 km of Špilberk Castle and 34 km of Trade Fairs Brno in Rájec-Jestřebí, Apartman Discoveryou offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area.

Nicely located if you want to visit Czech Karst. The room is quite spacey, as well as bathroom. Fridge, kettle, TV is in place. Old but working equipment - there are even Soviet-era forks and spoons.

A small village that has a very good Penzion/restaurant in it. Great food and service for great prices. A place where one can go hiking, shopping, sightseeing. and or caving nearby with just a short drive in a car or a ride on a bike. It is a quit place with rolling hills all around it. If somebody does not like big towns with a lot of traffic and people, this place is for you.

Village. One shop one restaurant (good), forests and fields.

Village. One shop one restaurant (good), forests and fields. A few kilometres away from lake for swimming, about three km (two miles) from town, say ten kilometers to famous cave and abyss (Macocha). Nature around, relax. Brno city is about forty kilometers with all shops, clubs, etc. This is sleepy hollow in good meaning. Several castles within twenty kilometers radius.

Location get ten points if you seek relaxing nature. There are attractions like horse raidings, but mainly it is quiet, nearly tranquile experience. City (Brno) is roughly half an hour far away. Breakfast was served, but choice was really good. And amount more than enough. Home made products, like patte, even butter! Bread nice and fresh. Lunch and dinner in hotels' restaurant was lovely, traditional Czech cooking. We had actually two rooms apartment, with harder, but good beds.

Nice staff, very good restaurant, delicious food. We had a spacious room, it was actually an appartment with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and also small hall with the table where we could play cards every evening :)) Great location in a small village Petrovice, quiet place, and you can reach Macocha and all the caves within 15-20 minutes by car.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and the location was perfect for visiting the nearby famous caves. Parking is also very easy right outside. The breakfast was excellent and dinner at the on-site restaurant is very recommended.
