    Nice and charming place... perfect for relaxation. Picturesque view, close to the nature, calming environment... everything you need for relaxation away from the busy city - suddenly it seems like the time stops. Still, there is plenty to do - walking around, sightseeing, or just walking around the the main square or getting lost in the tiny streets of the village.

    Stramberk is a lovely place to stay with a very pleasant surrounding area too. There is often activity going on in the square and the local pivovar is a good visit for traditional Czech food and drink. Beware of typical Czech drivers though, who tend to largely ignore the village road signs and speed limits!

    Historical little town with friendly people, lovely streets and old houses, very safe, nice for evening walks, Stramberska Truba / tower is beautiful from all view angles and cheat entrance fee. Traditional food and restaurants all cheap and very tasty. 10/10

    Štramberk is an almost absurdly picturesque little town on...

    Štramberk is an almost absurdly picturesque little town on top of a hill at the northern end of the Beskydy mountains. The only place I actually ended up eating there was at the Hotel Sipka, because the food was excellent; the rest of the time I was exploring and hiking the lovely region. Like most historic European towns, it would be extremely difficult to get around if you are mobility-impaired: lots of hills, stairs and cobblestones, but the views are worth it.

    Location, location and once again location - we were really lucky getting a reservation in this hotel that is situated literally in the heart of beautiful town of Štramberk. We even got the room on the top floor with a view to the center of the town and its main object of interest - the tower. This gave us a chance to sleep listening to the sounds of grasshoppers. We would definitely come back there some time.

    The hotel is in a very beautiful place, with not so many parking positions, that is why it is better to reserve one in advance, please remember to ask for a parking ticket also. The food is good, and the employees there are young, vivid, and beautiful also.

    Very nice small hotel directly on the square with comfortable beds, friendly staff and very tasty breakfast with a lot of warm and cold choices. Our room was nice, with view to the square. Parking was easy in front of the building and cost 200 czk.
