The hotel is set in a beautiful village, tranquil riverside location, surrounded by hills. Our host, Peter, was incredibly welcoming, and spoke good English. We arrived late for check-in; he waited up for us and even offered to make us food and drink after all of the staff went home. He was able to make us laugh, kept us smiling every time we saw him, was attentive, and kindly offered us blankets/seat pads when we were sitting outside in the evening. The food we ordered was nice (chicken caesar salad, pulled pork burger, mixed salad, and pork fillet/doll). There's a trampoline and hot tub, which we didn't use, but is nice for children.

Was the most orrible hotel of our beautiful holiday on this country....the woman at the reception is a horrible human being and in the morning screamed on us that the breakfast was finish...there is so many amazing and nice places around, please dont choose this one and ruin your holiday

The warm welcome of the people that worked there (they waited more than 3 hours for us to arrive because we arrived very late by flight in Praha). Calm small village and nice location of the house. Perfect outlook over the countryside. The room was clean and heated well. Kitchen with all the needed tools etc. Clean and nice bathroom. Great staff. Small beverages bar available downstairs.

It was a great stay in Chalupa pod strání. Hosts family was very kind and helpful. Our family is very thankful for waiting for us till our arrival at 23.30. Delicious breakfast and great coffee have made our stay even better. I definitely can recommend this beautiful and cozy place with clean and green area outside to stay for the family with kids as two rooms are close to each other and you can feel like at home. Very comfortable beds and pillows and fresh air made our sleep deep and refreshing. We will definitely return in the future.
