The hotel appears to focus on delivering good value. Policies & procedures are quite "common sense" while the "goal" seems to be providing guests with a good deal. This shouldn't be remarkable, but it is. Breakfast pricing is an "invitation" not an opportunistic rip-off. There is a mini-bar - but this seems to be a convenience, not a bottom-line-padding attempt to "trap" guests who do not feel confident going to the store. It was also simply a lovely room with great facilities, well-spoken and welcoming staff, and comfortable beds - the usual compliments available to hotels. My expectations have been raised. Storck has rather set a new standard.

Nice hotel with great wellness centre (pool, sauna, hot bath, tepidarium) and lovely garden in village centre, some 15 minutes from the forest. Good breakfast and free coffee and tea during daytime.

Amazing hotel in Bad Laer, with super delicious food for breakfast and dinner, all bio, and clearly prepared with love for the guests. Great pool with view on beautiful garden, full of flowers and plants, relaxing environment. If you come with bike, they have space to store them. We felt so welcome and so spoiled which is all to the credit of the people who work at the hotel, reception with such kindness and joy. Highly recommended! We will go back!

Pretty countryside, nice gardens…and pet deer! About 25 min walk from Laer (town with restaurants). Nice bread and fresh eggs (hard boiled) at breakfast. Quiet surroundings. Polite and friendly staff.
