Top of the list is the ease of getting around - not so good...
Top of the list is the ease of getting around - not so good this time due to rail works! They are due to end soon. Transport is not particularly cheap but it is very easy and usually very efficient and reliable. The beer gardens near the main Stuttgart railway station and in Singelfingen are both well worth a visit on a warm day. Coffee and cake at the cafe in Holzerlingen, next to the Lidl store is a great place to sit and relax. Riding the Ubahn from Viahingen is a great way to relax and enjoy the Stuttgart countryside. The rooms in this hotel are very clean.
The rooms in this hotel are very clean. They offered shampoo, lotion, water bottle, free wifi, but the breakfast you have to pay for. There are no microwaves, or refrigerators in the rooms. They do not have dedicated guess parking. The elevator is extremely small. A single person can barely fit in the elevator; and that is without bags. On the up side, the management is very friendly. The breakfast is ok, nothing to bragg about, and it is not free. Overall, I would stay here again because the hotel was quiet, and safe. Böblingen is adjacent to a large industrial area but does have a certain amount of character. There seem to be a variety of restaurants, some not currently open because of Covid 19 but we found a good Italian restaurant with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, well spaced out for Social distancing. Rooms are very cosy and in very good condition. Staff is friendly and helpful. The best about the hotel is the restaurant (food). Fantastic German (Swabian) cuisine of exceptional taste and quality.
