A great location. The room had everything and was spotless. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and although not cheap, the food was excellent and was well presented. An impressive wine list. Everything was done to make our stay enjoyable.

Very clean and modern. Well equipped however. Washer and dryer (even a common one for the buidling) would help. Also a basic pantry with slat, pepper, sugar would be useful.

The apartment is just perfect and we'll surely come back here if we're around. It has got all amenities, and Monika and Peter are perfect hosts, always willing to help and give advice about the surroundings and things to do in the area. We also had a problem with our car just after checking out and Peter helped us out. We had a great experience here!

This is our second stay with Tatjana and Ludwig, this time with kids. Gruner Baum is the perfect spot in the the Black Forest and everything about it, from the clean and comfortable rooms, the view of the forest and the delicious breakfast, are unmatched. Tatjana and Ludwig are gracious, entertaining and funny. They were always available to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended for couples or families. Tatjana, next time will be sooner than 11 years!
