Everything! Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you need for cooking, dishwasher, laundry, bonus umbrella, etc. Peter and Monika were available to help in so many ways from using appliances to a ride to the train station on a drizzly morning with my luggage. They graciously offered to drive me from the supermarket Edeka which is only 1/2 mile away, but challenging to carry a case of Sparking water and other beverages. They set the garden table for me with linens and flowers when my relatives arrived and invited me to have some wine the night before I left. I loved hiking directly daily in the beautiful Black Forest, from the trail that literally begins at their back door as well as the trail alongside the Elz River and towards the Yach Valley. The Elzach swimming pool is pristine and was so refreshing after my hikes.

It was beautifully clean, well appointed with most items needed. Comfortable furniture and plenty of space. Easy to accommodate children ( which I did not have) but a beautiful space for them. Great location very close to Elzach city center ( perhaps a 25 min easy walk from the train station and 10 min to the village, 5 minutes to the pool which is free during your stay). Friendly and responsive hosts.

Great location, close to the Kandel Gipfel. Room was clean & I loved that you can request different pillow types depending on how you sleep. The small touches are considered. I had the Schnitzel for evening meal, very tasty! Breakfast was great too, with a good selection. Staff were very friendly - I had left my glasses in the room & they didn’t hesitate when I asked if they could post them.
