B&B is a favorite chain in Germany for me. Only this one wasnt staffed after 9 or 10pm. After a 5 hr drive not being able to enter and getting a message from the check in machine that you room is nit ready yet is not nice. After contacting booking.com they actually cancelled the reservation because they couldnt fix it (!!). Luckily I gound an emergency number on the wall. After talking to somebody at first the message was unclear and I expected somebody to show up. An hour later I got in contact again and got the access code and room number. Better to staff the place. It is a hotel.

Great location - this was a short stop for us, while we were on our way further to France. Easy check in and check out. There were 2 chargers available. Great pillows and bed. Very quiet in apartment.

Staff were lovely and helpful and provided vegan choices of houmous and olive oil instead of butter - and was great some other sweet choices that we did not need - for breakfast. In addition there were red and yellow peppers, tomatoes, walnuts, pumpkin & chia seeds, oats and sunflower seeds. The houmous was so delicious that we feel sorry for other guests! It could perhaps be offered as standard - the climate crisis necessitates a move away from meat and dairy products, towards plant-based foods.

This hotel enjoys a peaceful location on the edge of a forest and offers a view of the spa and festival town of Bad Hersfeld.

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. On general visiting the place was a very nice experience which I will most likely repeat. The facility is located in residential area, with tiny streets, so one needs to be careful when driving up there. The number of parking spats were limited, but I got one. The town itself is very nice and definitely worth visiting. Excellent restaurants in the old downtown.

B&F Hotel am Neumarkt is just 5 minutes’ walk from the picturesque abbey ruins, site of the town’s famous theatre festival.
