Hotel Kern was a hidden gem, only a short drive from Munich. The hotel was beautiful on the inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of cold and warm food.

Just a very average hotel. Nothing special, not sure why the rave reviews. The bathroom will get very wet after a shower due to poor design. Breakfast very limited choices, just normal. It's ok for short stay but not wow for me.

The hotel is just at the side of the Chiemsee lake, the view, the location, the park are fantastic. You get this feeling of a classy hotel in magnificent surroundings. It has a private swimming house on a pierce, where you can change and just enjoy the lake. Breakfast -esthetic and meeting every expectation. We were sad to leave, will definitely stay there again. Comfy beds, soundproof walls, very welcoming staff.

Loved having the apartment - very roomy and everything you need in the kitchen too. The private outside terrace was great to have. The breakfast was wonderful. We loved talking to Risa and her daughter Carlotta ( I think ) .. this was a great place to stay, very quiet and in a cute little village. We found several Camino walk signs there too.
