Firstly I liked the fact that there was a person (I guess he was the owner) at the reception when I arrived. I hate those hotels where there is a computer to do the check in. It's not far from the main road (small deviation), but very quite Very friendly guy, and the whole place is just as I like it, easy going, providing what you need at a great price. I also liked the small village and the fact that there is a Bistro so very close to the Hotel (approx 100 meters) Good wi-fi connection I loved the coffee and the breakfast I will surely use this place again.

Second impression in the morning was better than my first impression, the breakfast was good. The whole place felt very clean but very empty.

The owner is really friendly and knows how to run a good hotel. Nice spa, included in the booking. (that’s not always the case) The breakfast was excellent!

The villa has been renovated to a very high standard. All rooms have the same price despite the fact that they range from basic to almost luxurious in terms of amenities. My son and his wife had an apartment with a shower (room 54) and a very large balcony which would be great in the warmer months, my other son had the spa room (room 44) which included a large bathtub and a huge balcony area for sitting outside. We on the other hand had a room (room 49) over 2 levels with an extremely narrow and steep staircase up to the bedroom and bathroom under one part of the roof. The smell from the shower drain was extremely unpleasant so we kept the bathroom door closed. Not experienced that in a hotel before. A huge plus is the kitchen and area to sit in the cellar rooms if you want to store food or cook for yourself or a group. The kitchen is big enough for a group event and is well equipped.

Beautiful classic building with our room being refurbished to a modern standard. Great choice of breakfast with hot options freshly cooked. Lovely location and views of the old castle. Refreshing walk into town.
