Guest reviewperfect for group of friends. Breakfast was nice. The staff were very friendly and nice to us. We would definitely go back there again. The location is very convinent for skiing at Feldberg.

Guest reviewlocation was beautiful and quiet, breakfast had several delicious homemade jams and spreads, enjoyed access to the gardens to relax, excellent access to walking paths to get downtown, the owners were very gracious and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful.

We went to Triberg which was beautiful and we did the tobaggan run at Tod ax and the small theme park which was great fun and good value . Property was a good base for our travels . It's a lovely Black Forrest village near the Ravenna Gorge Christmas Market- one of the most unique markets in Europe. Its a short drive or train ride to Titisee or Freiburg. We were there in December but there seemed to be quite a few summer activities and sights offered Overall, I enjoyed the relaxation and fresh forest air and atmosphere before a week adventure to Strasbourg, Baden Baden and on to Frankfurt. Hinterzarten is a sleepy and quaint village in the Black Forest a walk through the forest away from more touristy spots like Titisee-Neustadt. I like visiting these places but returning to a lesser known village like Hinterzarten. Bus and trains easily take you around the area as well. We visited Freiburg for a day and then came back to this lovely village with a handful of wellness hotels and a few shops and restaurants. It's a great choice.
It's a great choice. Location in the Black Foest is such a plus, Hinterzartin is big enough to walk ar0und the town and eat out if you please.
