We stayed in room 7 which is on the top floor and has a balcony overlooking the river. It was the perfect size for me and my friend. We could've easily stayed here for an extra night. I was not sure where to stay between Pirna or Bad Schandau so this is the perfect location in between the two. Nice view of the river and the fortress. Free car park on site. Nice breakfast. For an additional fee, you can order breakfast - 13 euros per person ( not included). Also near the hotel is a kiosk where you can buy sausage and potatoes, beer and more.
