Breakfast was great. Location was good, good value for money if you are staying for a night and travelling through like we were. Room was larger than expected for the price.

We did not see Leer at its best on this visit, as it was cold and raining, and you need to wander round to appreciate the town, which has an interesting centre and an open air museum of historical ships in the old harbour. We had been to Leer before, and on this occasion only spent one evening as we were "in transit". The old harbour, with the "Waage" and views of the church is very interesting, and a visit to Bunting's tea shop and/or the museum is a must. The area round Leer is fascinating, with many old villages in a mainly flat and peaty landscape.

Great location very central in Leer. In close walking distance to many cafés, right next to the harbour, and also only ten minutes to the train station. Friendly staff. Very good restaurant (keep in mind: no breakfast offered).
Check-in was really easy using the machine at the back of the hotel. The room with bathroom were modern and clean. And I am always happy to see there is a proper desk and chair available.
