We asked for a room with a bathtub, and we actually got it together with a very nice room. That was great! We were also a bit earlier than expected but we were able to enter the room immediately. The swimming pool downstairs was also quite nice. The staff was polite and very helpful.

Residents of Münster have pride in their city having completely rebuilt its medieval centre after the devastation caused during World War II. This resourcefulness is reinforced by its large student population attending the University of Münster and the many bicycle tracks that make it the bike capital of Germany.
Start your tour at St.Paul’s Cathedral in Domplatz that features an astronomical clock dating back to 1540. Not far away is the Prinzipalmarkt with its 14th-century town hall. St. Lambert’s Church suspends 3 cages from its tower which were used to display the bodies of leaders from the Münster Rebellion.
A favourite pastime for locals is to sit on the banks of Aasee lake or you can hire a bike and explore the countryside of the Westphalia region. The university is set in the botanical garden and includes the Baroque-style Schloss (palace) as its administration centre.

Beautiful city with lots of splendid architecture to view...
Beautiful city with lots of splendid architecture to view and admire. The centre is full of higher end shops - if you exclude the obligatory Maccies but even they have had to alter their standard design to fit in. City Centre is a LEZ and although motorised vehicles are allowed in they are vastly outnumbered by cyclists making you think you could be in a Dutch or Danish city rather than in Germany. You can explore the whole central area on foot without getting worn out as the distances are short and there are many places to stop for a bit of light refreshment. Coffee shops seem to outnumber the dining restaurants but there are places to get a full meal at a reasonable cost.
Cathedral is beautiful and unlike many in the UK doesn't charge an admission fee - there are of course donation points inside and we were happy to put some money in the box.

Do not ever stay at Limehouse Münster.
Do not ever stay at Limehouse Münster.
It's the most unpleasant hotel I have ever
been to anywhere in Germany.
Münster as a city is delightful with great
restaurants like Grill&Bar Celona!
The Stadt Museum is fascinating and it's
completey free.
Watch out for the cyclists when you're out
walking. Lovely shops and walking trails.

Green space and bicycles all within a city with excellent cultural attractions, outdoor and indoor. Wide range of food and drink options. The Schloss and Botanical gardens, the associated park, and the Aasee (lake) were a verdant backdrop for the clear-blue autumn weather we were fortunate to have and for the numerous rusty-golden trees. The green avenue of the Promenade encircling with city centre offers relaxing walks and cycling to any part of the city. Cycling is a fun, affordable, and relaxing way to get around in this almost perfectly flat city renown as Germany's bicycle capital (check out bike hires from the Radstation outside the railway station - staffed by helpful people who ensure the bikes are comfortable and in perfect condition).

Munster is a wonderful city, suitable for both a short visit and an extended stay. It's not a very large city, which maintains a cozy atmosphere without being overwhelmed by skyscrapers or tourist crowds. There's definitely a lot to see in terms of attractions, delicious restaurants, and excellent shopping.

A very cute, small and pretty city.
A very cute, small and pretty city. Not too terribly much to see due to it being rather small but it was a nice change of scenery nevertheless. The public transportation functions well and you can easily get to places; for sightseeing purposes you don't need that, though, because all of the pretty and interesting places are central and can be reached on foot.
I didn't frequent any restaurants due to being on a budget but there are plenty of those; however if you're looking to spend less money I highly recommend checking out the Too Good To Go options in the area.
Overall a great destination for a two to three day trip.

I arrived, in a thunderstorm, and a wedding the previous day had meant the restaurant was closed, but the warmth of welcome and the free beer :) helped me feel so welcome. I was told of places I could go, they would have got me a taxi.. but I was tired and had a lovely sleep in a quiet and comfortable bed.
Morning was lovely as well, with a good breakfast and great coffee
Would I come here again.. yes indeed. Secluded and about 1k from the town, it is perfect to be near Munster but in what I would class as a country hotel.
Minimalist in design and space but superbly designed to meet all comfort needs and basic requirements. No wastage of superfluous room items or space. Real filter coffee available 24/7 in the dining hall instead of artificial powder coffee in the rooms. Excellent location for exploring Munster city centre and accessing basic store in the station vicinity. Room was quiet and private despite being adjacent to the railway station.
A modern designed, spacious, simple yet very cozy hotel room. Cleanliness was top, the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly, thus I will choose this hotel again for my future business trips in Münster. The city centre is around 2,5 - 3 km away, but after a 4 hour drive the 15 - 20 minutes walk to the centre is more than welcome.
Historic location, only a few kilometers drive away from the Munster city center. Ample of parking space. The hotel is located in park-like surroundings. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.
