The location is perfect to explore the island.
The location is perfect to explore the island. All places of interest are reachable - by car - within half an hour. The guest house itself is located several km from a bigger town, but if one does not have the need to go out in the evening, the guest house offers premises to spend your quiet evenings with a book (there is a small library if you read German) or table games, or - if one comes with a group of friends, there is also a common space where one could sit and enjoy a chat and a beer.. You can either have your dinners at the place (not everyday, I understand), or try different places on the island. We very much enjoyed one dinner in a family restaurant "Alte Schule" in Kluis (we found the place accidentally, and where lucky to get a free table without a reservation :-)) Another place we could recommend is Restaurant Daheim (try their fish soup!) in Lohme.
