The brightly styled R & J Hotel is located in Rust and offer rooms with free WiFi access. The Europa-Park Theme Park is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation, which also has a sun terrace.

We had a gigantic room with a sauna included. I liked our stay there, but found it a bit awkward to have no one there at reception, but it was still a smooth check in. Free parking was great. A 5 min drive from rulantica. Good value.

This hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the Europa Park in Rust. It offers air-conditioned rooms and apartments and an on-site restaurant.

Everything was perfect. The room was cosy and the breakfast was so rich! The staff was super nice. They even gave us a jar of home-made jam as a present when we left.

    The location for entry to Europa park is only a 5 minute walk away. The pool and the water fire show at the hotel was amazing.

Europa Park Thrills and Black Forest Hills

Set between the Rhine River and the Black Forest, Rust is a small German town that is best known for its huge Europa Park. The largest theme park in Germany, it only comes second behind Disneyland Paris as Europe’s most popular amusement park.

The park’s 16 themed zones contain a variety of high-adrenaline rides as well as attractions better suited to younger children. There are also shows, a 4D cinema and various eating establishments all over the complex.

In addition to the elaborately designed hotels within Europa Park, Booking.com has a fantastic range of Rust accommodation including hotels with outdoor pools, apartments with parking, and cheap guest houses.

However, this is of course not the only reason to visit. The Baden-Württemberg region offers some wonderful cycling routes, and the hills to the east of Rust are also popular for hiking.

The town is located less than 1 hour’s drive from the Black Forest spa resort of Baden-Baden and the colourful city of Freiburg. Each route passes by lush vineyards and little towns with half-timbered houses. Historic Strasbourg is over the border with France to the north, while Basel to the south is a lesser-known Swiss gem.

    As a special birthday treat, I arranged a short break for my husband & I to Rust. The main purpose was to visit Europa Park & Rulantica. We spent 2 days at the theme park, 1 evening in the water park. It was gorgeous. So well laid out, clean & accessible. The hotel we stayed at was almost equidistant between the 2 venues, with a couple of shops & restaurants close by. Excellent location, stunning hotel. All the staff were very friendly & polite. Fully intend to return soon

    Rust is a lovely village with it's main attraction being...

    Rust is a lovely village with it's main attraction being Europa Park. However the village itself is very quiet, well kept and well serviced with restaurants and supermarkets. It's 15min from Ringsheim train station and has 2 buses to catch from there, both reasonably priced. It's lovely to stay in even if you don't visit the theme park.

    Nice, quiet village, within walking distance from Europa Park. Returning from the park, one passes a good number of restaurants, very convenient for grabbing a bite and a drink before returning to the apartment.

    Rust is a relatively small place with only a nature reserve outside of Europa Park and Rulantica. You could hire bikes in multiple places but they didn't have anything for smaller children. Lots of good restaurants (we went to Casa Rustica which was excellent) and two large supermarkets. Free bus service around Rust for both parks was a great bonus. Lots of shops closed over the weekend, but this is pretty standard for Germany. Restaurants generally opened at around 5pm every evening.

    Evening ticket to rulantica was wonderful and we enjoyed even more than europa park. So glad we went to water park at nighttime as atmosphere better as it quietened down the later it got. We need not have rushed around europa again queues got much shorter later in the day and we should have taken more time to enjoy food on offer. Luckily Restaurants open late in rust old town til 10.30 Sunday night

    Rust was great as it is the location for Europa Park.

    Rust was great as it is the location for Europa Park. We found a restaurant near the acoommodation on the first night there. We also went to a nearby Lidl to pick up supplies. Could have done with an extra night!

    The apartment was great, cozy and very clean, very spacious and modern, situated in a beautiful and quiet area in Rust. We enjoyed our stay a lot, everything was on point and the host was very friendly and helpful. Regarding the parking, there are free parking spots in front of the house. To get to Europa Park, we had to walk around 20 minutes. Totally recommend and to conclude, it's a great value for money!

    The apartment was spacious - bedrooms had plenty of room, and living area with balcony. Kitchen well equiped. Towels and everything well provided. The location was great for Europa Park, with the option of walking / getting the Rustbus or using the free parking provided. Breakfast was lovely each morning with choice of eggs which were freshly made.

    The rooms are really fun and nice and really comfortable. Breakfast was also good and well fairly priced. I loved all the interesting decorations in the room! I really enjoyed this hotel and is situated right between Rulantica and Europa Park if you want to visit both attractions. The town Rust is also a really nice cute town in itself.

    The staff was super friendly. The breakfast is outstanding. The terrace outside is very nice and on a warm sunny day like we had it makes you feel like being in Italy. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Europa Park and there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy some good food in the evening.
