Decent city break for those living in Berlin and would like...
Decent city break for those living in Berlin and would like to "escape" to a lake town in Brandenburg. The lake is quite nice and large enough for a whole day's worth of activities. Museum in the castle was fun and interesting as well. The Irish pub had great service and beer. Worth a day (or two) trip with a friend or loved one.Guest review byNicholasGermany - Review score4.0
We liked simply nothing.
We liked simply nothing. The place is surely a jewel of a locality, near lake and end of civilization, but must have an investment of minimal 100 millions of euros to make it on a level of a Biohotel or Wellness resort. Absolutely everything in the hotel is simply too much talk and zero action. We have tested for example the wellness centre and my PA went for Ayurvedic massage, but all it was just talk and slight touch. My PA is well knowledgeable in the wellness world, but this treatment was last on her list. Simply substandard as everything in the hotel. We have JUST seen the cleaning crews wandering about the resort, but our rooms were uncleaned for the WHOLE DURATION OF THE STAY. Nobody even bothered to change towels, needless to say beddings. Our list of simply GROUND ZERO service can go on and on.Guest review byJosefCzech Republic

Also the lake is just 10min walk away and ideal for a swim during the hot summer months or just to walk along the sea front. I stayed in a refurbished room and in particularly the bathroom was new and super clean, very much appreciated. A decent breakfast was served and also I had dinner outside in the restaurant, which offers tasty food. Last but not least, free parking, which is always appreciatedGuest review byThomasGermany

I was fortunate and stayed in a newly refurbished and decorated room including bathroom. Thus, I had a good rest. Also, the hotel serves good breakfast. Also I can recommend to have dinner in the restaurant. Last but not least, the hotel has free parking and reliable internet (if you come for business).
