Room was excellent with lots of space. I and my wife still needed to do some work. We both had each a separate desk. Bathroom and toilet were separated. Nice view over the town and the Strelasund from the windows.

The hotel was in such a lovely position right on the waterfront. We liked being able to look out across to Rugen Island and being able to open windows! Lovely walks along the waterfront and very close to Altstat as well.Very clean, nice staff, very comfortable with all that you needed. Nice to see glass bottles of water provided to minimise plastic. Restaurant was very good too.
Directly on the promenade, this historic hotel in Stralsund Harbour offers its own shipping pier, excellent spa facilities and maritime-themed rooms with a view of Stralsund Lake or Old Town.

The harbour area is lovely, and the Ozeaneum aquarium excellent. Also, there's a beautiful white sailing ship, the Gorck Fock, moored up and free to access (the deck only). There are plentiful bars and restaurants, serving German and international cuisine at reasonable prices. There are many lovely old buildings in the town, including three large and lovely churches. The old town is compact, easy to explore and almost impossible to get lost in.

Old hanzeatic city, with beautiful old town (on Unesco list) but also charming port. Good for visiting churches, viewpoints on towers, walking along the streets with gothic and renaissance houses, but also for having a bread with a fish straight from the boat (Or to try local speciality - labskaus). We regret we didn't have enought time to visit oceanarium...

It's one of the lesser attractive hanseatic cities but they always try to offer more. If you go there, expect little. I would recommend to visit Stralsund for slow travelling. One or two relaxing days are enough to enjoy the city and your life. This is what Stralsund is giving. Most activities, restaurants and visitors are in the old town. You can take every public transport quickly to get down town. The biggest tip is the Ozeanum which has its own bus station.

Stralsund is a nice large city with a harbour and beautiful old town. Compared to the other cities we visited in North Germany it was the one with the most entertainment and good stores. I do recommend it for a two day stay

Very spacious and clean room. Outstanding service both at the front desk and in the restaurant, and the hotel is situated just outside of the city center with great views over either the "Altstadt" or the water and Rügen
I liked the stay. A small cozy room with all the facilities. Close to bahnhof. Perfect for visiting the baltic sea. The regional train is just 1 hr away from stralsund and after every hr.
