Staff on Salzburger Hof are always super friendly, breakfast is fantastic with home made and local specialities, rooms are big with possibility to keep some food in the fridge or prepare some food or snacks in the small kitchen.
Fine international cuisine and free WiFi are offered at this hotel in Hagenau, just 200 metres from Lake Chiemsee. It offers quiet rooms and a traditional beer garden.

I was arriving quite late and they arranged everything so I could get into the hotel and room.
Rooms according to the pictures
Cosy and warm, bathrooms are refitted with new appliances as well.
A good base to explore the region. Beautiful views.
A good base to explore the region. Beautiful views. Plenty of things to do and see. The Ludwig II Palace, great beer, lovely quiet lakeside places to chill. Cycling around the area popular and lots of trails which are largely flat. Also a direct hourly train service to Munich and Salzburg if you fancied an excursion. You can find plenty to do for a week.

This was a unique place, different from normal B&Bs and hotels. More in the category of glamping or "small house" accommodations. It was minimalist but perfectly adequate, comfortable and cosy. I loved the creative flare in the design of the small wooden cabins. There were many creative structures around the property. The timber framed breakfast hall was delightful ...fit to be a wedding venue. Breakfast was great. The price / value was good.
The food was excellent. The hotel is off the beaten track in a quiet village. The view from the restaurant balcony, where we are our meal, was stunning. The room was a little old fashioned but adequate for one night stop over whilst travelling.
A lovely family run small hotel in a beautiful peaceful setting. The food was excellent and amongst the best we enjoyed on our tour round Germany. The hosts and staff were very friendly and we had a fun evening in the restaurant.
Ubersee is a nice village and the mountains behind the place were good to see.
The mattresses at top of hut were comfortable and sheets clean and fresh.
There was a small fridge.
You should know what you are looking for. Do not expect hotel comfort, it is a nice camping site with hotel-like facilities. The cafeteria/restaurant ambiance is fantastic.
