View was amazing (even if not lake view). Breakfast was excellent and room was extremely clean and well laid out.

Lovely hotel in the center of Waldeck with Retro-Charme in the best of meaning. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms huge and clean with nice balcony and fantastic view. Good breakfast,

Nice, quiet & beautiful location, breakfast was good, choice very great, but not exceptional. Nice, large & clean rooms, very (!!) friendly staff / service & owner. Only negative thing to point out was everything felt a little bit 'old fashioned' ["alt-backen" in German]. Still, we would stay there again and will recommend this place (it's by far superior over the Marriott Hotel in Heidelberg, which so far been the worst Marriott Hotel we visited in Germany!).
