I was met in arrival by the owner. very friendly. Location was great. right by the start of the town. Enough equipment etc to cook meals for 6 people. outside area is a bonus. No private parking but on street was ample.

We had an extremely long journey and were exhausted, so we were happy to see such a lovely place. The foto's can't do this place justice. The modern feel to the flat was lovely and It was extremely quiet and relaxing. We loved this place!

This is our second stay with Tatjana and Ludwig, this time with kids. Gruner Baum is the perfect spot in the the Black Forest and everything about it, from the clean and comfortable rooms, the view of the forest and the delicious breakfast, are unmatched. Tatjana and Ludwig are gracious, entertaining and funny. They were always available to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended for couples or families. Tatjana, next time will be sooner than 11 years!
