Werner the host is perfect in his role. Nothing is too much for him. He literally made my stay the best it could have ever been. The place was clean and welcoming. The coffee perfect, and the food great. What more do you need. Nobody stays in their hotel on holiday. But I could have stayed indoors and chatted with others just as simply as visiting the local sights. It's a well located hotel and I highly recommended it.

The bed mattress was deeply troughed, pillows were awful. You can hear the next room's toilet flushing and brushing their teeth, next to your head when you sleep -- the walls are not sound insulated! Check-in was a nightmare because the machine was "system error", therefore we were forced to drive to town to get cash. Positives: the room has a nice big electric kettle, tea and coffee, the shower is very good, parking is very easy with our big moving van.

We booked late and arrived just before checkin. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Having a bedroom with the apartment when travelling as a family is a bonus. We will stay again. Staff for the evening checking and morning checkout were polite and helpful - 5 stars for them! Bonus: parking by the property and a bakery across the road!
