The hotel was easy to find and, though the hotel carpark was full, we parked very close by on the town square for free. The receptionist and I had lots of fun communicating in the bits of mutual language we had! The town is sweet with a few sights, nice place to walk around and great bakeries close to the hotel for breakfast and lunch purchases. We had dinner at the hotel and it was very nice, if a little salty (the goulash) - but then I do not overly season so I do find this on the continent. The room was large and beautifully appointed, with a bowl of apples, lots of bottles of water and a kettle etc. Good place to stop for a driving break!

Everything was superclean. Bathroom was clean, the room was clean (cleaned every day), the shower was strong and warm/hot, the heating was good... the view from the room was really beautiful (I've got to see the whole valey despite foggy winter mornings). The staff was very straightforward, friendly and helpful. They really made the whole stay nicer. Breakfast was really versatile and abundant. Coffee was good. The restaurant was really exquisite. The hotel might be three star, but the restaurant was really reaching for five. The food was magnificent. Compliments to the cook. There was always enough parking spaces in front (parking is quite non-problematic). I would seriously recommend staying here. And I thank and commend all of the houskeeping and staff.
