I just need at quiet place to rest, wasn't on sightseeing...
I just need at quiet place to rest, wasn't on sightseeing... I'm not specifically interested in Ballerup at this moment... And therefore it was a bit annoying that the house was so noisy - late at night as well as early morning... The staircase especially was making a lot of noise.. It made me feel nervous that somebody was coming down to me - a lot of times...( I was in basement! ) I couldn't open a window either, just the door if I wanted some fresh air, and that wasn't very nice either... The room (s) were too big and 'spread out' in different 'sections', and that wasn't cozy in my eyes...There wasn't a 'night-lamp' near the bed that worked, only a lot of spot lights in the ceiling... Not that cozy even if the volume could be turned down... The man of the house seemed very nice, I met him on the way to the house, - as I was asking for advice concerning some road-maintenance obstacles that were in my way to get to the house. So they are most likely were nice people ... But I guess a big part of my disapointment comes from the fact that this stay was more expensive than a night in Hotel Zleep - also in Ballerup, 3 weeks ago...There I had a quiet room, no sound from the building, view to a lake, nice bed, a window I could open, GREAT BREAKFAST INCLUDED, everything clean and everything easy and flexible in terms of checking in and out etc. Much easier and more comfortable for me... Ballerup it self is a suburb that has everything you need.
Ballerup it self is a suburb that has everything you need. The bus connections are good, they are frequent and it only takes around 35 min by train from Copenhagen central station, path to walk and bike are well made to everywhere.Guest review byJ. RosianaDenmark
